My Startup Journey

In 2020, I was in the midst of my first year of university. I was majoring in Public Health on the pre-med track, and I was planning to become a doctor.
Fast forward to the Summer of 2021, where I was given the opportunity to intern at XRC Labs (NKA XRC Ventures).
- At my time at XRC, I was an Operations/Business Development focused Intern. I was primarily in charge of finding ways to improve XRC’s venture accelerator, and had assisted in the development of XRC’s startup job board. Another primary project I took ownership over, was in optimizing XRC’s cloud storage. I had also assisted in the development of XRC’s asynchronous accelerator and developed course materials to repurpose previous online seminars and classes.
  - My favorite part about my experience at XRC, was doing my own startup research to add to XRC’s weekly newsletter and speaking with portfolio founders to understand their experience within the program.

My Deep Dive into Music Marketing and the Creator Economy

Following my experience at XRC, I had then joined an early-stage music marketing startup called Happy Studios. (Acquired in 2023).

After Happy Studios, I had worked as a growth intern at Melo Music, which was an underground artist discovery platform that grew to 40,000 monthly active users.
- I was in charge of reaching out to and bringing artists onto the platform. I had also fostered a strategic partnership with a Web3 startup to grow Melo’s user base by 1,000 users.
Following my experience at Melo, I had then received an opportunity to work as an intern for Nitrility…

During my undergraduate college career, I had joined multiple startups as a part-time/contract intern.
- I had worked alongside Avi Patel at Nitrility as a growth and investor relations intern. At Nitrility, I had fostered relations with multiple investors, primarily in the angel investing/venture capital vertical. I had also worked to bring on artists as well as helped ideate strategy to bring on distribution labels to the platform.
